The Gentle Roadmap is Expanding!
New subscriber perks and insights
Hello everyone!
This isn’t an essay—just a quick update about the change in The Gentle Roadmap’s subscription model.
Maybe you’ve caught that in the most recent essay, the headline of the Subscribe button missed “it’s always free” part.
So far, I’ve been keeping the payment nonexistent. I turned it off last September and shared in this post that I wouldn’t be offering paid tiers or pledge anymore.
But after weeks of thinking now, I’m ready to steer this platform to a wider ocean—the one that allows me to give more and share deeper insights to assist your growth.
I noticed from my everyday life observation that a certain skill is a must-have. This skill needs polishing, as it can also open doors sometimes. How you shape your narrative influences how you present yourself and respond to opportunities. Storytelling is at the core of it all. My background in building a portfolio career speaks for itself.
That’s why The Gentle Roadmap isn’t just about my reflections anymore, it’s a space where I can actively help you grow in personal and professional endeavours, boosted by your storytelling skills.
What’s new for paid subscribers
You’ll get access to:
✨ The “Own Your Narrative” slide pack – an intro on how to wield this storytelling skill for your personal journey
📖 My end-of-year storytelling journal template — for free, you can adjust that to the current timeline
💬 Monthly 1:1 sessions – further info below
🎟 Free tickets to my upcoming workshops on storytelling and portfolio careers — this is huge, because when you’re a paid subscriber, you won’t need to pay for my coming workshops.
Topics that you could discuss and discern together in our 1:1 are, for example:
managing your portfolio career like a project
career growth
writing and other side hustling while maintaining a full-time job
storytelling for building a business case
journaling for personal reflection and clarity
habit building
or honestly, any storytelling related!
What about the currently free posts?
Since the benefits for the paid subscribers are mainly of the specific hand-outs, I don’t paywall my posts. They’re still accessible as usual, packing my reflections and open to discussions.
Ready to dive in?
If my work has resonated with you and you’d like to deepen your storytelling practice and grow your life (while also supporting this platform’s growth), you can now become a paid subscriber.
Until next time,
